The former Ajax keeper has established himself in Carlo Ancelotti's Juve side after a disappointing start, and comes into Euro2000 on the back of his side's Serie A disappointment. They lost the Scudetto on the last day of the season and van der Sar will hope to make amends on home soil this summer. Already possesses Champions League, UEFA Cup, UEFA Super Cup and four Dutch league winners medals. Looked impressive in Hollands 1-0 victory over the Czech Republic in their opening game. Kept another clean sheet against Denmark and looked in good form, Was substituted late in the game after he took a knock to his ankle. Had nothing to do in the quarter-final until he was subbed as a precaution against a knee injury in the second-half, and made a couple of outstanding late saves in extra time and one in the penalty shoot-out as the Dutch lost to Italy in the semis.
