Brazilian-born who qualifies to play for Germany through his grandparents, Rink is another of the Leverkusen strikers who have impressed so much this season.
Like so many South Americans, his ball skills are occasionally astounding, but the strength in the German frontline means he is unlikely to be used as anything but a substitute in this summer's championships.
Contributed to Scholl's goal against Romania in an otherwise low-key performance.
Won his tenth cap against England when he came on as a sub for Ulf Kirsten.
Came on as second-half sub to try and change things for Germany...but couldn't, Portugal won 3-0.
