This dependable right-back is a regular in the current Kaiserslautern team
and was part of the side which competed in last seasons Champions League.
However in recent months Schjonberg has not been a regular choice in Bo
Johansson's back four, and will struggle to force his way into the starting
line-up.
He picked up a booking in the Danes' first group match of Euro 2000 in the 3-0 defeat against France. The defender, like his team-mates at the back for Denmark, struggled throughout the whole game to cope with the pace of the French forwards.
Missed a penalty against Holland in the 86th minute but the Dutch side were already 3-0 up.
Part of a disastrously porous defence.
