Currently the first choice striker in the Danish team, Sand is very much the target man who is able to hold the ball up for others to join Danish attacking moves.
The former Brondby player is currently playing for Schalke in the Bundesliga and has helped himself to eight goals this season.
Played the first game of the tournament for Denmark but he was disappointing in the 3-0 defeat.
Was bundled over for a penalty by Dutch keeper Edwin van de Saar, unfortunately Schjonberg put it wide.
