Nielsen is a highly versatile midfield player who can operate on the flanks or in his preferred position up front.
He may not make it into Bo Johansson's starting eleven but could come off the bench to offer a fresh approach should the Danes require an extra presence up front.
Came on for Thomas Gravesen in the 67th minute against Holland but was unable to do anything about their 3-0 defeat.
Played against the Czechs.
