Has been well recieved in the Italian league where his defensive skills have earnt him a second season in Serie A.
Formerly of Sparta Prague, he has linked up with former Letna coach Chovanec.
Made his debut in his country's 3-0 defeat of the Faroe Islands in 1993 but missed out on Euro 96.
Gave a typically forceful championship debut against Holland. Booked in the 66th minute.
