Was voted Czech Goalkeeper of the Year 1998 and 1999 and after a move from Czech side SK Slovan Liberec to Rapid Vienna has managed to stake a claim as the national side's number two.
Made his debut against Kuwait in 1995 and was third choice keeper at Euro 96.
Has played only six international matches and did not play in any qualifying games, at 35 this could be his last Championships.
