Was a first choice in the team which reached the Euro 96 final and scored on his debut against Finland in 1990.
The squad's leading goal scorer manages to get into excellent positions but has something of a reputation for being an indifferent finisher.
Kuka is no longer first choice striker after a succession of injuries but has played in the recent friendlies against Ireland and Israel and will probably be used as a substitute. Like Berger, came off the bench to score in the final warm-up game.
Was voted Czech Player of the Year in 1994.
Came on with only eight minutes left against Holland but could not get into the game's farcical finale.
