Has impressed for club side AC Sparta Praha and has played four times in the UEFA Champions League this season.
Has replaced team mate and former national keeper Tomas Postulka both in his Prague based club side and in the Czech national side.
The 29-year-old made his international debut against Australia this season and goes to the Championships as third choice keeper.
