A competent holding midfielder, Bejbl allows his team-mates to break forward in the knowledge that he will stay in a defensive position.
One of the key players in the side which finished second in Euro 96.
Came on for Latal against Holland and missed a gilt-edged chance when it looked easier to score. He must be bitterly disappointed.
Didn't make much of an impact against the French and was substituted in the 49th minute.
Started against Denmark.
