Former Aberdeen manager Willie Miller has told the Pittodrie board to end all speculation and tell Ebbe Skovdahl that he will be in charge of the team until at least the end of the season.
The Dane's contract depends on getting the Dons into the top six by the winter break but Miller believes his successor deserves longer to prove himself.
The successful businessman and media pundit is a shareholder at Aberdeen and made his feelings known in person to the current board of directors at Thursday night's agm.
Miller has made it clear that all the speculation surrounding the manager's position will only result in more long-term damage to the club. He said: 'I think that you need continuity as I don't believe that Aberdeen can afford to use that revolving managerial door again as too many have gone through it.
'I don't think that at this stage of the season it's the right time for the board to be contemplating any sort of a change of manager.'
