Falkirk leapfrogged Inverness into third spot in the league with a hard-fought 2-1 triumph at Brockville.
Alex Totten's side started the day a point adrift of Caley but deservedly overtook them after a rousing 90 minutes.
New-boy Chic Pearson claimed the opener for Falkirk and Ian Morris added a second just after the half-hour mark.
But Steve Paterson's side refused to surrender and stormed back in the second-half.
Former Aberdeen striker Dennis Wyness pulled one back in the 71st minute, but they could not muster an equaliser.
