Soccernet.com

Elgin City beat Albion 1-0 in a bad-tempered match which saw two red cards and eight bookings.

City were reduced to 10 men after 33 minutes when captain Colin Milne made comments to the referee's assistant as he was being cautioned and was promptly shown a second yellow card.

Ryan Green scored the only goal after 50 minutes, collecting a David Craig pass to rifle a left-foot drive inside the far post.

Three minutes from time, Rovers captain Todd Lumsden was dismissed for an elbowing offence.

The visitors were denied a point in injury time as defender Tom Tait's header struck the crossbar.
