Full-time: Cowdenbeath 2 - 1 Brechin City
Soccernet.com

Cowdenbeath celebrated promotion for the first time in nine years after a dramatic 2-1 win over rivals Brechin City at Central Park.

The Fifers, needing only a point to make the step up to Division Two, got the all-important opening goal in the 42nd minute.

Brian Welsh header struck the crossbar and Toby King was on hand to connect with the rebound and blast the ball into the net.

In a dramatic finale, Brechin grabbed the equaliser through substitute Daryn Smith in the 89th minute - but Cowdenbeath made absolutely sure of promotion when Craig Winter notched their second goal on the stroke of full-time.
