Queen of the South secured a 1-0 win over promotion hopefuls Arbroath thanks to Dean Muir's last-gasp strike.

Both sides struggled to make much of an impact in a poor game until Muir silenced the away support with his well-struck winner.

Arbroath could not clear their lines and Paddy Atkinson hit a perfectly-weighted pass for Muir to crash home from inside the penalty area.
