Battling Alloa moved up a place to eighth in the table after a hard-earned 1-1 draw with Ross County at Recreation Park.
In a high-tempo match, neither side seemed able to provide the finish in front of goal with possession squandered in the final third of the pitch far too often.
But with 69 minutes gone the Wasps snatched the lead when Ian Little drilled the ball home after Steve Thomson had nodded down Willy Irvine's cross.
It seemed like that would be enough to give Alloa full points but County never gave up and pulled level five minutes later when Alex Bone headed home after good work from John McQuade.
The hosts nearly snatched the win with two minutes remaining. Chris Wood's shot hit the County post but Irvine could only blast the rebound wide.
