Inverness continued their winning run as they look to earn a top three place in the First Division with a 3-0 victory at Morton.
The Highland side took the lead after 17 minutes when Morton keeper Andy Carlin failed to hold a corner and Charlie Christie headed the ball into the net.
Morton did show a surprising amount of fight, particularly after the warning on Thursday that the club could close within two weeks due to financial problems.
However, although they pressed forward at the start of the second half, they could not find an equaliser and were caught out just 13 minutes from time.
A sudden attack from Caley stretched their defence and Dennis Wyness had time to lift the ball into the net to double the visitors' advantage.
Then two minutes from time Inverness added a third when a quick build up created the chance for young substitute Neil MacDonald to volley the cross into the net, and seal an emphatic victory.
