Full-time: Berwick Rangers 1 - 0 Forfar Athletic
Soccernet.com

Berwick Rangers kept their promotion hopes alive after a superb goalkeeping display by Willie McCulloch helped them to a 1-0 victory over Forfar.

McCulloch made five great saves including a fantastic double effort from Andy Cargill.

Berwick had battled hard but Forfar were the more dangerous side.

And Dave Beaton, the former Berwick player, missed a last-minute opportunity to claim a point for the visitors.

Martin Neil grabbed the winner on 53 minutes, coolly lobbing home after a pass from on-loan Hearts midfielder Alistair Graham.

Earlier, Berwick's Paul Ronald had seen a first-minute header cleared off the line but overall Forfar carved out the better openings and were only denied by the impressive McCulloch.
