Arbroath kept up their promotion chase with a last-gasp 1-0 win at struggling Stenhousemuir.
But the visitors had to wait until the 89th minute for man-of-the-match George Rowe to blast a 25-yard free-kick into the back of the net to earn them the three points.
Stenhousemuir had their chances to score and Barry Donald drove forward from inside his own half before putting Isaac English clean through, but he could not beat goalkeeper Craig Hinchcliffe.
Arbroath should have opened the scoring earlier but Stevie Mallan hit the post with a 25-yard drive after 74 minutes before Rowe sealed the match.
