Inverness moved into third place in the First Division with a comfortable 2-0 victory against Raith Rovers.
The Jags grabbed the initiative from the first whistle and Raith goalkeeper Samuel Monin had to make an excellent save from Martin Bavidge after 27 minutes.
Raith broke away and Thistle goalkeeper Jim Calder saved at point-blank range from Mark Jones.
The home side made a bright start to the second half and their efforts were rewarded when Dennis Wyness put them ahead from a tight angle after 53 minutes.
Wyness stretched their lead with a powerful header from a Bavidge cross on 80 minutes.
Raith were reduced to 10 men when Paul Hampshire was ordered off for a second bookable offence four minutes from time.
