Full-time: Arbroath 2 - 0 Queen's Park
Soccernet.com

Arbroath regained second spot in Scottish Division Two with a hard earned 2-0 win over Queens Park.

Steve Mallan gave them the lead on 19 minutes scoring from the penalty spot after he had been brought down by Greg Miller.

The victory was rounded off nine minutes from time when Andy Webster touched home a corner from Kevin Heenan, after Colin McKinnon had flicked it on.

Both sides struggled to play passing football but Arbroath deservedly took all three points.

Goalkeeper Craig Hinchcliffe was rarely troubled by the Spiders' front men and he watched his side extend their unbeaten run to 11 league games.
