Albion Rovers ended Dumbarton's five-game unbeaten run with a 4-1 win from a fine display of attacking football.
Hero of the day was Wee Rovers substitute Martin Harty, who scored twice for Albion and narrowly missed his hat-trick.
Todd Lumsden put the visitors in front after 29 minutes when he nodded home Jered Stirling's corner.
Dumbarton had a soft penalty claim turned down when Rovers' debutant Alistair McMillan appeared to handle a close range effort from John Dillon.
But Rovers kept up the pressure and the turning point came when Harty replaced Stewart Ingram - and scored with his first touch.
Dumbarton were awarded a penalty shortly afterwards and Paddy Flannery converted from the spot after being felled in the box.
But home hopes of a fightback proved short-lived as Harty scored again after fine work by Stirling.
And with just two minutes left Rovers were awarded another penalty when John Hillcourt brought down Mark Booth.
The Dumbarton goalkeeper was sent off and the home side replaced defender Dillon with substitute keeper John Wight.
Wight guessed right and denied Harty his hat-trick, but he could not stop Ryan McMullan's effort from the rebound.
