Stranraer are now without a win in five league games after an uneventful 0-0 draw at home to Clydebank.
The second-placed Stair Park side have lost a formerly commanding lead over their promotion rivals and this latest poor display came in front of their lowest ever league attendance of 150.
The visitors had the better of the first half but failed to take advantage of the strong wind, although Stranraer fared no better after the break.
Appalling conditions hampered both sides in the second half and the game was stopped for two lengthy periods as visiting goalkeeper Jamie Campbell was repeatedly treated for a shoulder injury, with Clydebank having no substitute keeper.
Stranraer lacked the invention to test injured Campbell and with driving rain becoming heavier and the wind increasing to gale force, the referee added no stoppage time and the game finished goalless.
