Full-time: Morton 1 - 0 Clyde
Soccernet.com

A goal from Clyde striker Brian Crawford in the 61st minute gave the Bully Wee the points in their 1-0 win over Morton.

The home defeat left cash-strapped Morton still without a win from their last 10 games and firmly locked in the basement area.

The game started promisingly for Morton with Harry Curran and Steve Aitken combining well, but hesitation in front of goal proved costly.

Clyde's defence stood firm throughout, with Gordon Greer and Neil McFarlane outstanding.

The winner came courtesy of ex-Greenock favourite Andy Millen, who moved to Clyde earlier in the season.

In the 61st minute Millen lobbed a high ball out of his own defence and the Morton defence remained static as they watched its flight.

That allowed striker Crawford to pounce and clip the ball over advancing goalkeeper Andy Carlin and into the net.
