Full-time: Queen's Park 1 - 2 Queen of the South
Soccernet.com

Queen of the South boosted their Division Two survival hopes with a two second-half goals to seal victory at relegation rivals Queen's Park.

The Palmerston Park club had to come from behind after the Spiders had taken the lead after 25 minutes when Danny Ferry sneaked past Des McKeown on the right and crossed for Stephen Canning to net with a right-foot shot.

Debutant Stuart King grabbed the equaliser after 66 minutes when the former Preston forward played a neat one-two with Warren Hawke before slotting the ball past the visiting goalkeeper from 10 yards.

With 15 minutes to go, a precise Hawke pass found Peter Weatherson, who beat his marker before drilling home a priceless winner.
