A tremendous push by Partick Thistle in the second half saw them brush off a challenge by Queen of the South to cruise to a 3-1 victory.
Partick had weathered an opening spell of Queen's pressure to break away and take the lead in the 19th minute when a cross from Danny Lennon caught keeper David Mathieson out of goal and Martin Hardy was there to head home.
After this Thistle took command, but were surprised four minutes before the interval when Queen's snatched an equaliser.
Peter Weatherson cut the ball back for Alan Hogg to set it up for John O'Neil to crack it home.
But after that it was all Thistle and they deserved their equaliser at 58 minutes when keeper Mathieson could only touch out a shot from Ryan Hamilton and Hardy was on the spot for his second.
But it took until seven minutes from time before they could make the breakthrough again through Scott McLean.
