Ayr and Airdire fought out an entertaining four-goal goal thriiler in a 2-2 draw at Somerset Park.

The Diamonds had the better for the first half and deservedly took the lead through Fabrice Moreau's 40th-minute header.

The sides traded goals at the start of the second half with Gary Teale firing home for Ayr, before Jesus Sanjuan restored the visitors' lead less than sixty seconds later with a 25-yard volley.

But the home side continued to fight and claimed a deserved point when Paul Lovering headed home his first goal for Ayr on 56 minutes.
