Undersoil heating at Hampden beat the winter freeze as Queen's Park and Arbroath fought out an entertaining 1-1 draw.
Both teams started brightly but it was Queen's who went ahead after 12 minutes when the Arbroath defenders failed to clear a high ball into the box, which fell for Paul Borland who fired low into the net.
Arbroath were level three minutes later when Paul Brownlie met the ball on the edge of the six-yard area to fire past Queen's keeper Colin Stewart.
In an end-to-end game, both sides came close to adding a second goal and three minutes before the interval Arbroath's Kevin Fotheringham headed against the post.
Queen's dominated the second half but the visitors' keeper Craig Wight kept his side in the game, denying both Kevin Finlayson and Steve Marshall from close range.
In the final minute Wight secured a point for Arbroath when he tipped a fierce drive from Borland past the post.
