Forfar were in seventh heaven after a fantastic result which finally lifted them off the foot of the table.

The Loons, without a home win since last April, ended that run with a flood of goals, including an amazing hat-trick from debut on-loan signing, David Winters.

Winters, signed from Dundee United, notched his three goals in the space of five minutes, after Euan Donaldson had started the rout with seven minutes gone.

Winters netted in the 12th, 14th and 17th minutes, to secure victory for Forfar by the interval.

The second half saw the home side continue in similar fashion and a Dave Beaton free kick two minutes after the interval and a double from Barry Sellars on 50 and 79 minutes completed the whitewash over the dejected visitors.
