Livingston threw away a lead to struggling Airdrie for the third time this season in a 1-1 draw.
Scott Crabbe grabbed a first-half opener for the visitors but Fabrice Moreau headed home to clinch a share of the points for the Diamonds.
Their last league meeting also ended on level terms and the following week a penalty shoot-out saw Airdrie lift the Challenge Cup despite Livingston taking the lead in both games.
Young Hibs starlet Tam McManus was handed a debut after agreeing a month's loan deal at Airdrie.
And it was Airdrie who enjoyed the best of the opening stages and Martin Prest could have put the Diamonds ahead after just four minutes but sent his header wide.
A few minutes later McManus came close to grabbing a debut goal with a decent shot that was well held by goalkeeper Neil Alexander.
But after 11 minutes it was only the skill of Airdrie goalkeeper Javier Sanchez Broto that prevented Livingston taking the lead.
Michael Hart's lay-off found Steve Tosh in front of goal and he unleashed an effort that produced a great block from the goalkeeper. Tosh followed up but sent the rebound over the crossbar.
Broto came to the rescue again two minutes later, managing to block Crabbe's shot before once again denying Tosh.
Just after the half-hour mark, David Bingham should have broken the deadlock but nodded wide of an open goal.
But right on the stroke of half-time Crabbe pounced on a long ball from Alex Burns to rifle home the opener past the Airdrie goalkeeper.
Four minutes after the re-start, Prest should have levelled the scoreline. The Argentinian had a point-blank shot at goal but hit the ball straight at the Livingston goalkeeper.
But on the hour, the Diamonds were thrown a lifeline when an earlier caution for Tosh proved costly when he was red carded for a challenge on Antonio Calderon.
Airdrie took full advantage and Moreau nodded home the leveller after 77 minutes from a Salvador Capin corner.
