Stranraer thoroughly deserved their 3-2 victory at Queen of the South after holding out with 10 men for almost the last half hour.
Blues goalkeeper Mark McGowan was shown the red card after 64 minutes for apparently bringing down Jonathan Sunderland in the box.
Substitute keeper Stephen O'Neill came on and saved the resultant penalty kick from Paul Kinneard but the ball was never really cleared and Paddy Atkinson was on the spot to ram home a cross and set up a final flourish for Queens.
Queens had taken the lead in six minutes when Greg MacDonald turned the ball into his own net.
But goals by Billy MacDonald (26), Paul Walker (37) and Ian Harty on the hour seemed to put Stranraer on easy street.
