Full-time: Queen of the South 1 - 1 Arbroath
Soccernet.com

Ten-man Arbroath held on to salvage a point at Queen of the South.

The game didn't really get going until the second half when Arbroath were awarded a penalty three minutes after the interval.

Colin McGlashan was brought down in the box by David Paterson and he took the kick himself to break the deadlock.

The Doonhamers hit back and Craig Hinchcliffe punched out from a corner and the ball went to Jarrod Suddick, who failed to take the chance and hit it high over.

But the home side did equalise after 60 minutes when Peter Weatherson pushed the ball through for Bryan Caldwell to hammer home from 15 yards.

Arbroath were left with just 10 men after 64 minutes when Kevin Steele was red-carded for a tackle on Jon Sunderland.

Neither side could then find the vital break and the game ended with one point each.
