Dennis Wyness grabbed a glorious hat-trick as Inverness Caley Thistle blitzed the visitors in a magnificent 7-3 victory over Ayr United.
Thistle took the lead in the eighth when Mike Teasdale converted a low cross from Richard Hastings.
But the visitors hit back, taking a surprise lead with strikes from Eddie Annand and a solo effort from Hugh Robertson in the space of two minutes.
Paul Sheerin equalised from the penalty spot after Wyeness was tripped by Steven Boyack and Wyness sent the home team into the lead just before the interval.
Glynn Hurst put Ayr back on level terms with a low drive in 48 minutes, but from then on Thistle dominated proceedings.
David Bagan put the home side 4-3 up on the hour and he extended the gap with a 20-yard rocket fifteen minutes later.
Wyness netted Thistle's sixth from David Xausa's cross in the 79th minute and he completed his hat-trick shortly after.
Ayr's misery was complete when Craig McEwan was ordered off eight minutes before the end.
