A double strike from Dennis Wyness helped Inverness Caledonian Thistle record a sweet 3-0 away win at rivals Ross County.
Inverness thoroughly deserved their victory, but County finished the match with just nine players after Alex Bone followed Darren Henderson for an early bath as the match threatened to get out of hand in the second half.
Caley Thistle took the lead in the 36th minute when Wyness swept home a Charlie Christie cross for the only goal of the half.
But both sides created a number of chances and the score could easily have been five apiece at the break.
Substitute John Fraser, who replaced Frank Escalon after only 12 minutes, missed County's best chance when he shot straight at keeper John Calder after being put clean through on goal by Bone a couple of minutes earlier.
Mike Teasdale extended Jags' lead in the 56th minute with a spectacular strike, and after County were reduced to nine men Wyness secured the points when he made it 3-0 with a deflected shot.
