  -   REPORTS   -   Third Division
Saturday, November 11, 2000
Full-time: Cowdenbeath 1 - 1 Dumbarton
Soccernet.com

Cowdenbeath remain top of Division three thanks to a late goal from substitute John Paul Burns.

Dumbarton took the lead after five minutes with a Jamie Bruce header and things looked even bleaker for the Fifers when centre-half Keith McCulloch was sent off in the 53rd minute for a wild challenge on Pat Flannery.

Cowdenbeath never gave up and Graeme Brown twice came close to a levelling before Burns shot low into the net with seven minutes remaining to preserve his team's unbeaten home league record.
