Former Thistle skipper Mark McCulloch scored twice to give Livingston a two-goal advantage inside the hour mark.
His first came from a 31st minute header from Wilson's cross and he stretched the lead from a Wilson corner which had the home defence in a tangle in the 58th minute.
Thistle struck back straight from the restart and Roy McBain reduced the deficit from a deep Martin Bavidge cross a minute later.
Paul Sheerin displayed excellent ball control when he equalised from a Dennis Wyness cross in the 69th minute.
Paul Calder came to the rescue when he denied an angled drive from Wilson who were outpaced the home defence in the closing minutes.
