Full-time: Clyde 2 - 2 Ross County
Soccernet.com

Clyde twice came from behind to grab a point in a hard-fought 2-2 draw with Ross County.

The Highlanders took a 25th minute lead when Craig Taggart headed home after Clyde keeper Danny Hamley made a hash of a clearance, giving Taggart an easy finish.

The home side equalised in the 52nd minute, when Pat Keogh stabbed the ball home after Andy Kane's dangerous corner had caused havoc.

Only five minutes later Darren Henderson drilled home, to restore County's two-goal advantage, shooting through a ruck of players after Brian Irvine had helped on a Steven Ferguson corner.

Clyde came back again to claim a share of the spoils in the 69th minute.

Kane was again the provider with another corner which Mark McLaughlin rose to meet unchallenged before beating Nicky Walker.

Clyde boss Allan Maitland was upbeat at the end.

He said: "All in all it was a hard-won point and I was pleased with the football we played and the character shown by the young players, although it was disappointing to lose two sloppy goals."

Visiting boss Neale Cooper said: "I was disappointed with the goals we lost because we knew Clyde would look for set pieces and we should have been prepared.

"It was a hard-working performance and an away point, as well as the first time this season we scored two goals."
