Falkirk fought back from a 2-1 half-time deficit to take the spoils with an odd goal in five victory against Clyde at Brockville, but had a Gordon Greer own goal to thank for it.
The Bairns opened the scoring in the 12th minute after a sleek passing move.
Steven Rennie found Mark Roberts in the box and the striker diverted the ball to Gareth Hutchison. Although the striker miscued his shot he still managed to squeeze the ball under Danny Hanley from six yards.
Falkirk still looked the more capable side but in a five minute spell towards the end of the first period they found themselves behind.
With 39 minutes on the clock Steven Convery raced down Clyde's left before crossing into the middle and Andy Kane magnificently glanced a header down and in at Myles Hogarth's left hand post.
A minute from the break the visitors went in front when home defender Kevin Christie allowed a Clyde clearance to run under his boots and the tricky Convery latched onto the mistake to flash a right-foot effort past the helpless Hogarth.
Kevin McAllister replaced Ian Morris in the 53rd minute and the veteran levelled with his first touch a minute later.
Roberts laid off a John Hendrie pass into McAllister's path and he flashed a right-foot shot into the net from 10 yards.
Eleven minutes later McAllister raced past a couple of defenders before finding Roberts 10 yards from goal.
Roberts squared across the face of goal and Clyde defender Greer was unlucky to turn his attempted clearance into his own net for what proved to be the winner.
