Cowdenbeath bounced back from last week's shock defeat at Peterhead with a convincing 3-0 win over East Stirling, which puts them two points clear at the top of the table.
It took them 20 minutes to make the breakthrough when Mark Bradley's corner was hooked into the net by David White and 10 minutes later they went two up through Murray McDowell's powerful header from an Alan Lawrence assist.
In the second period the Fifers had to withstand periods of pressure from the visitors, but the clincher came 17 minutes from time when Keith Wright got clear and passed to McDowell, who bundled the ball into the net from seven yards out.
