Elgin and Montrose are both still searching for their first win of the season after this basement clash ended in a 1-1 draw.

Elgin opened the scoring with a powerful Mike Morrison header (23) from Connor Campbell's free-kick on the right.

Montrose struck back 13 minutes later when David Muirhead found Mike McKenzie in space and the striker beat his man before cutting in to slam home a 20-yard shot.

Elgin had the better chances in the second half but Steve Clinton hit a post and visiting keeper Gary McGlynn kept them at bay with a string of good saves.
