Full-time: Ayr United 2 - 1 Clyde
Soccernet.com

Pat McGinlay headed home the winner 13 minutes from time as the Honest Men disposed of nine man Clyde with a 2-1 victory.

The Bully Wee wasted a golden chance on 11 minutes when Steve Convery missed from the penalty spot.

However he made amends on 59 minutes when he rounded goalkeeper Craig Nelson to fire home.

Substitute Eddie Annand converted from the spot five minutes later after being fouled in the box by Gordon Greer.

The visitors then lost the plot and had Mark McClaughlin sent off for a crude challenge on Micky Reynolds before McGinlay's winning goal.

Their misery was complete on 79 minutes when Alan Grant was sent packing for chopping down the lively Reynolds.
