Crisis clouds are gathering over Caledonian Stadium after Thistle crashed a 1-0 reverse to Ross County - their sixth successive defeat.
The Jags dominated for long spells but a combination of poor finishing and a string of superb saves from County goalkeeper Nicky Walker led to their downfall.
Thistle made an impressive start and a well-timed tackle by Dave Mackay denied a scoring chance for Iain Stewart in the sixth minute.
Immediately after, Walker made a superb save from Davide Xausa when Barry Robson's through pass set up the chance.
The home side maintained the pressure and Stewart was desperately unlucky when his header from Ross Tokely's cross rebounded off the crossbar.
It was very much against the run of play when Alex Bone put County ahead from the penalty spot after Jim Calder tripped Darren Henderson on 54 minutes.
Thistle came storming back and Robson and Tokely both hit the woodwork before County's Eddie Cunnington was sent off on 76 minutes.
