East Fife were made to pay for some wasteful finishing in front of goal when former Highland League side Elgin pulled off a smash and grab act to earn them their second point of the season thanks to a 1-1 draw.
Darren Wright gave the Methil side the lead on 15 minutes when he met Brian McCloy's header and nodded in at the back post.
