Two goals either side of the interval provided Brechin with the springboard for a 3-1 win over Albion Rovers at Cliftonhill, keeping the visitors challenging at the top of the Third Division.
Albion started brightly enough and went ahead after 18 minutes through Mark Booth.
But Brechin fought back strongly and equalised through veteran Roddy Grant in the 42nd minute.
They took a deserved lead within two minutes of the restart when Ben Honeyman's shot trundled over the line.
And substitute Gary Dewar's 71st-minute strike put the visitors comfortably in charge of the game as they coasted to a fifth win of the season.
