Raith Rovers recorded their first league win of the season in emphatic style with a 4-1 victory over Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
After their recent troubles this was a much more encouraging display by the home side whereas Caley, while dangerous on the break, looked shaky in defence.
Ray McKinnon's first goal for the club after 10 minutes settled Raith's nerves and after dominating most of the play they deservedly extended their lead five minutes after the break when visiting keeper Les Fridge's attempted punch hit Paul Tosh and bounced into the net.
Four minutes later Alex Burns collected a Jay Stein pass and when his first shot was blocked he drilled the rebound low into the corner.
However, Caley were not totally out of it and they pulled a goal back on 59 minutes when Ian Stewart headed into an empty net after Davide Xausa's shot was blocked.
