Morton ran out handsome 3-0 winners for their third victory in a row, denting Clyde's terrific start to the season in the process.

The visitors got off to a great start when Stephan Whalen scored a cracking goal in the third minute with a bullet header, the perfect end to a superb, flowing move.

Nine minutes into the second half Whalen grabbed his second after pouncing on a loose ball on the edge of the Morton area and slotting home.

The visitors finished the game in fine style with a last minute goal when Ross Mathieson slipped the ball home from close range after some great work from Kharim Boukkra had left the striker with the easiest of chances.
