Peterhead continued their undefeated start to the Third Division with a hard fought 2-0 victory over Dumbarton.
The Blue Toon were without striker Gary Clark, who broke his leg earlier in the week, but goals from Craig Cooper and Martin Johnston ensured another three points for the home side.
Dumbarton crumbled after Cooper struck the opener from the penalty spot midway through the first half and struggled to get back into the game from there on in.
The majority of chances fell to Peterhead and they could easily have netted four or five goals to make the victory more convincing.
