East Fife staged a sensational second half comeback to beat East Stirling 5-2 at Firs Park in a thrilling and controversial encounter.
The home side seemed to be heading for the win with goals from Gregor McKenhie and Steven Hislop giving them a 2-0 interval lead.
But a goal from Stuart MacKay only minutes after the restart brought the Fifers back into the match.
East Fife's task was made easier with the dismissal of home defender Dougie Todd in the 54th minute, and only three minutes after that the visitors levelled the scores through Barrie Moffatt.
Having hauled themselves back into the tie, Steve Kerrigan put the visitors in front with a 25-yard strike before late goals from Moffatt and substitute Paul Simpson made the result all the more emphatic.
