Promotion hopefuls Cowdenbeath got their Division Three season off to a flier with an easy 2-0 win over East Stirling.
A bad opening day for the home side was capped when they had defender Cieran Quinn sent off four minutes before the break for a professional foul, and that came hot on the heels of Cowdenbeath's opening goal on 31 minutes.
Striker Keith Wright beat keeper Jim Butler to send the visitors in at the interval 1-0 up, and they looked well on their way to three points after doubling their lead 20 minutes into the second half.
Blue Brazil midfielder Mark Bradley got the all-important goal on 66 minutes to take the wind out of the East Stirling sails and spark the Cowdenbeath celebrations.
