OSLO, April 17 (Reuters) - Norway held World Cup-bound Sweden to a 0-0 draw at home on Wednesday in a low-key friendly that produced very little excitement.
Both teams created a few chances in an otherwise pedestrian
first half, with Norway's Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Sweden's
Fredrik Ljungberg each coming close.
Celtic forward Henrik Larsson, Europe's most prolific
striker last season, had the best goal-scoring opportunity after
the break when he broke clear of the Norway defence only to
shoot wide with just the keeper to beat.
Sweden will face Argentina, England and Nigeria in group F
at this year's World Cup finals in South Korea and Japan. Norway
did not qualify.
